Sofia Hamilton couldn't believe he even remembered this.
Biting her lip, she pulled open the cupboard door.
In that instant, looking at the neatly arranged pots of various sizes, she had to marvel at how extraordinary this man's memory was!
All the kitchenware inside was brand new, as if it had never been used.
Sofia took them out and washed the pots clean. In no time, she had already started cooking the mixed-grain porridge.
She patiently stirred, and just as she was about to turn around to get some sugar cubes, she saw Ryan Gregory standing in the doorway.
His sudden appearance startled her.
He leaned against the door frame, dressed in simple gray homewear, and his pallor from the illness made him look softer, not as cold and tough and unapproachable as usual.
Sofia clutched her chest, "Can you not scare people like that?"
Could it be possible that he walked without making a sound?
How long had he been standing there without her noticing at all...
