Chapter Nine
Aaron Brown stopped in his tracks and turned around.
Apart from the strangers coming and going, he didn't see any familiar faces.
Yet why did he feel such a familiar sensation just now?
It was as if she was right beside him...
"Mr. Brown?"
"Mr. Brown?"
The assistant looked at him curiously, wondering what Mr. Brown was looking at.
Aaron Brown came back to his senses, raised his hand to pinch his weary brow, "Continue."
It must have been a hallucination, again.
He always saw figures in the street that resembled her, but every time he caught up, it wasn't her.
Sofia Hamilton, this woman who once appeared in his life.
In his lifetime, the only pure moment might have been the time he spent with her.
Aaron Brown walked forward, his brow furrowed, "Repeat what you just said."
The assistant panicked for a moment, worrying that he said something wrong. Was Mr. Brown looking for his mistake?
"Quickly."
