Arthur Baker was about to refuse when Aurelia Wood pleaded, "I'll definitely take good care of her and not let any dangerous men approach her. I'll bring her back to you safely. Just think, going to such a faraway place with my fiery temper, imagine how much trouble I'd get into without Sofia Hamilton by my side. Not only would you have to bail me out, but I bet your mom hasn't stopped talking about me, right?"
She didn't need to think to know that her mother must have felt ashamed, likely telling Arthur Baker to give up on her, not to let her continue to cause a scene.
"You know you cause trouble, yet you still do it," Arthur Baker frowned.
"I just can't help myself, I lack discipline," Aurelia said playfully, pulling the somewhat distracted Sofia Hamilton in front of Arthur Baker, "Here, she's the one who can keep me in line."
