Chapter One
On the streets howling with cold winds, passersby wished they could shrink within their clothes.
At this time, Aurelia Wood's appearance seemed out of place, to say the least!
She was cold, but her heart was even colder...
She walked on without knowing where she was headed.
Since she could remember, she had never felt what a home was like; as a child who must not be seen, each time she wanted to see her mother, her mother felt so ashamed, fearing discovery, that she would meet her in secret and shove some money into her hand with disgust, saying, "Didn't I tell you not to look for me? Take this money and don't come find me!"
Aurelia sighed. She didn't know what terrible things she must have done in her past life to be born into such a family.
It was all fate, and she couldn't change it.
She had to learn to slowly grow stronger and more resilient, becoming like a little hedgehog over time.
But not all of a hedgehog is spines, is it?
