He immediately held her tight and rolled, switching their positions to shield her beneath him, Sofia Hamilton was protected firmly by him, but the rocks kept smashing heavily onto his back!!
Boulders of all sizes fell onto him, and even Sofia, covered under his body, could feel the weight of those rocks as they struck down.
She looked at him in disbelief, her heart as if viciously tugged at.
He was actually blocking those rocks for her...
It must hurt a lot, right?
Her eyes reddened, yet he quickly got up and pulled her to her feet.
Looking at him, Sofia felt both guilt and turmoil inside. If it weren't for her instability and fall, he wouldn't have gotten hurt.
She wanted to ask if it hurt, if he was okay, but those words hovered on her lips, unspoken, "You..."
"Quick, climb up!"
He cut off her words, pulling her again to the other side, "Come here!"
Sofia had to suppress her fear and guilt, stepping again onto his legs.
