Chapter One
Sofia Hamilton quickly stepped forward and snatched back her suitcase, glaring at him with anger, "Why did you throw my suitcase."
"You said you wanted to get rid of it." He raised an eyebrow, flashing a killer smile that seemed almost criminal in its charm, looking every bit the good guy, "I'm just helping you, so you don't have to do it yourself."
"You..."
Sofia wanted to retort but found herself at a loss for words, since after all, she was the one who had said she wanted to throw it away.
But he surely knew that it was just an excuse...
He was clearly playing dumb with her!
Sofia forced herself to smile, "I appreciate your kindness, but if my things are going to be discarded, I'd rather do it myself. I don't like strangers touching my stuff."
She emphasized the word 'strangers,' believing that someone as smart as he was would undoubtedly understand her meaning.
