Chapter Ten
She fell into the water, sinking deeper and deeper.
The water choked her; she couldn't breathe, her eyes tightly shut as she gave up struggling…
Her pale little face lacked any sign of vitality, causing Ryan Gregory's heart to tighten.
He quickly swam over, dragged her to the surface, and finally lifted her to the edge of the swimming pool.
"Sofia Hamilton?"
"Sofia Hamilton?"
He gently patted her cheek, but Sofia Hamilton's breathing was very weak.
