Chapter Two
Aurelia took a bag out from under the makeup table and handed it to her, "Go change quickly, then come out and let the makeup artist do your makeup; there's still time. Tonight, have Auntie Li send the kids over to my place."
Sofia Hamilton opened the bag and inside was a brand-new, beautiful gown.
She didn't know how to thank her, and before she could speak, Aurelia cut her off, "If you say thank you, we're through as friends."
She truly did want to say those words of thanks...
Because Aurelia really had helped her so much!
Sofia could only swallow her thanks and instead said with a smile, "Aurelia, I love you."
"That's more like it."
Aurelia's lips curved into a smile, urging her, "Go on, no dawdling. I'm about to wrap things up here, there's nothing to worry about."
"Okay."
