Chapter Three
In the early morning, as soon as Sofia Hamilton finished washing up and stepped out of her bedroom, she was greeted by a tantalizing aroma that stirred up a hunger in her belly.
In the kitchen, her mother was busy preparing breakfast, bringing over a pot of freshly cooked lean pork porridge, "Come on, have breakfast before you go."
As she spoke, she served a bowl of porridge onto the table and poured a glass of freshly heated milk.
Although it couldn't compare to the Gregory Family's lavish breakfasts…
It had a warm taste to it, and provided a tremendous motivation.
Sofia Hamilton ate a spoonful with a smile, contentedly saying, "Mom, the porridge you make is the best in the whole world!"
"You're just sweet-talking because you want me to make it for you every day," her mother teased.
"You caught me."
"You're my daughter. How could I not see what's on your mind?"
"You're really my very own mom!"
