Their gazes clashed, his eyes deep and intense, fixated on her without blinking, which only seemed to add an extra layer of meaning.
Sofia Hamilton suddenly felt embarrassed and gave him a slight smile before shifting her gaze away.
But even though she looked away, she could still feel the heat of his stare lingering on her face.
Arthur Baker realized her discomfort and withdrew his gaze, looking out the car window.
He didn't ask, but he probably knew about her situation.

If he wasn't mistaken, her name was Sofia Hamilton?
That name seemed to fit her character well.
Arthur Baker couldn't help but remember the first time he met her. He had heard a strange noise and upon closer inspection, saw her bending over to tear her dress...
