Chapter Seven
All the way, Sofia Hamilton sat in the car, especially quiet.
With a heavy heart, she watched the outside through the car window, where a heavy rain had started to fall at some point, the raindrops pattering against the window and winding down the smooth glass.
If only one's mood could, like the dust of this city, disappear with the rainwater, how wonderful that would be!!
She had always thought of Aaron as an elder brother. In her heart, Aaron Brown was almost more perfect than Ryan Gregory, upright, kind-hearted, gentle, and understanding...
But today, he was a complete stranger to her.
And she had been foolishly used without realizing it.
She really was too naive...
Sofia remembered the eavesdropping device in her phone and felt both amused and frightened.
If it was in the phone, what about other places?
Thinking of this, a chill rose up her spine...
She stared blankly, seemingly forgetting that there was another person in the car.
