The jet streams, in coordination with the music and lights, danced vibrantly.
She was so enchanted by the sight that she didn't realize he had come up beside her until he took her hand. Sofia Hamilton turned her head and noticed his presence.
"It's beautiful."
Her smile curved up happily; her eyes seemed to twinkle with charming light, and like a warm current, it quietly flowed into his heart, softening everything within...
"Yes, beautiful."
He smiled lightly, reaching out to wrap his arm around her shoulders.
What he meant by beautiful was her.

Ryan Gregory held her as they admired the fountain together.
Sofia Hamilton looked at him, "Why did you come out, too?"
"There isn't much interest inside."
Even though he said so, Sofia knew he must have come out looking for her.
