Chapter One
Sofia Hamilton affectionately hooked her arm through Ryan Gregory's and called out in an overly sweet voice, "Husband."
She tightened her grip on his arm, declaring her ownership.
Ryan Gregory's lips curled into a smile as he watched her with amusement. If he remembered correctly, this was the first time she had taken the initiative to call him by that endearing term.
"You call it so nicely, but she won't understand it," he said with a smile, teasing her.
A flush of embarrassment spread across Sofia's face as he saw right through her little ploy.
But he was right, the other woman didn't understand a word and was oblivious to any threat.
She had forgotten that this was not Belden.
Sofia smiled sheepishly, "Then what should we do?"
"Like this."
A gentle, warm curve appeared on his lips, and he dipped his head to kiss her on the lips.
Sofia was taken aback, her eyes widening.
He had the audacity to kiss her in such a bold manner in public.
