Chapter Three
As Sofia Hamilton walked into the bedroom, she sat on the bed, smiling at him with a twinkle in her eye.
It seemed as if she was waiting for him...
Ryan Gregory walked over, sat beside her, and caressed her cheek with one hand, feeling the tender touch of her skin.
Sofia grabbed his wrist, giggled, and sweetly called out, "Ryan."
"Hmm?"
"Let's go to sleep early tonight."
"Tired?"
"Yes, yes." She nodded vigorously.
Ryan Gregory looked at her intently, his lips curving into a smile, "I promise, you won't feel sleepy for much longer."
He was about to lean over to kiss her as he spoke.
However, Sofia placed her hand over his lips, giving him an innocent shake of her head.
He was puzzled, "What's wrong?"
Was she afraid?
Or not ready yet?
Sofia lifted the corners of her mouth and said in a timid, low voice, "I got my period."
Her voice was as soft as a mosquito's, and Ryan Gregory pretended to be disappointed, asking with a laugh, "Really? Just now?"
