Chapter Four
If they had a child, things would become complicated.
She couldn't help but consider it.
If she left in the future, what would become of her child?
Would he be an illegitimate son shunned by society, mocked for life?
Or would they be separated, mother and child?
Just thinking about it filled Sofia Hamilton with dread.
As she was contemplating, the door to the bathroom opened.

Seeing her sitting on the edge, her face twisted in conflict, he smiled, sat down on the bed, and patted the space beside him, "Come here."
Sofia Hamilton swallowed hard, "That… Ryan, I, I'm a bit sleepy."
No sooner had she spoken than she wished she could slap herself.
What was she thinking with all this random thought process?
Being sleepy, shouldn't she want to be even closer to him?
Sure enough, he said, "Come here. Aren't you sleepy?"
