He gently brushed past the strands of hair by her ear, looking at her with a half-smile, "Or are you doubting your husband's abilities?"
Sofia Hamilton's face instantly turned red, feeling extremely uncomfortable with the heat coursing through her body.
She could only play dumb, "What are you talking about? You're taking this to some strange place. I'm talking to you about children right now."
"I'm talking to you about children too."

How did Sofia feel that it was getting even hotter?
Her heart was beating faster and faster, especially under his gaze, which seemed to have the power to ignite a fire. She felt increasingly uncomfortable and hot under his look.
Sofia let out a forced laugh, looking elsewhere in an attempt to change the subject, "That... let's go eat something."
"Now?"
"Yeah, I... I'm hungry."
