Was she not wanting to drag him into her troubles, or was she reluctant to leave Ryan Gregory?
Aaron Brown didn't ask; some questions could make things worse once asked.
He smiled, "It seems like you're not in a good mood. How about this, I'll take you to see your mother."
Sofia Hamilton immediately perked up, "Can I?"
"Of course, you can. Let's go."
"Okay." Sofia Hamilton smiled sweetly, the thought of seeing her mother again greatly improving her mood.
She followed Aaron to the car, happily getting in, when suddenly an idea struck her, "Big Brother Aaron, can we go to the Supermarket first?"
"To the Supermarket?"
"Yes, I was thinking of cooking a meal for Mom. She hasn't had a meal made by me in a long time."
Aaron's lips curled up, "So, I'm in for a treat today, too?"
His tone, humorous and fortunate, made Sofia Hamilton laugh and nod, "Yes, as long as you don't find it disgusting."
