Chapter Four
Indeed, as childhood sweethearts, she was no match for them.
After eagerly waiting to get off work, just as she left the company, a sudden blare of a car horn erupted from behind her.
Startled, she turned around to see Arthur Baker's car already behind her.
He rolled down the window and pulled up beside her, "Get in."
It was only then that Sofia Hamilton remembered she had promised him they would go see a musical together that day.
She had completely forgotten about it, forgotten it utterly.
But since Arthur had already arrived, could she really refuse?
Sofia Hamilton got into the car with a smile, "What time does the musical start?"
"8:30 PM, but first I'll take you to dinner."
"Alright."
Sofia Hamilton tried her best to cheer up and followed Arthur to dinner and the musical.
Sitting in the Performance Hall, while witnessing the earth-shattering love story on stage, she felt indifferent.
In fact, she had no interest in musicals at all.
