Chapter Three
"Sofia Hamilton!"
Claura Wood called out her full name loudly, and Sofia's heart skipped a beat.
She dared not turn around...
She could only force herself to pretend she heard nothing and continue walking forward.
Claura could see her fear and said with a smile, "Your name is Sofia Hamilton, right?"
"What, don't you dare to admit it?"
Claura strode forward and grabbed Sofia's arm, "Miss Hamilton, do you dare to do but not to own up to it?"
The aggressive momentum left Sofia with nothing to say.
"What are you talking about?"
"Still playing dumb with me? I'll tell you, I know all about your dealings with the Brown Family."
Claura spoke with such conviction that she didn't seem to be lying.
"You met at the Uptown Café this afternoon, I happened to be there. Thank heavens for leading me there; I didn't miss a great show."
Sofia forced herself to remain calm and not lose her composure, "What exactly do you want?"
