Chapter Two
"You've been talking more and more lately, it seems you're better suited for the Marketing Department."
This statement was full of threat, warning Nathan Morgan that any more chatter and he might not even have a job.
Naturally, Nathan didn't dare to speak further. Ryan Gregory, feeling suffocated, grabbed his car keys and headed for the parking garage.
Sitting in the car, he had no idea where to go.
His phone rang, it was his secretary, "Mr. Gregory, the restaurant you booked, I have already..."
"Cancel it."
"What?"
"Do I need to repeat myself?"
Sensing the boss's displeasure, the secretary quickly replied, "No need, I got it, goodbye Mr. Gregory!"
Ryan started the engine, but her smiling face suddenly flashed through his mind, "What exactly do you want to take me to eat? I've been thinking about it all afternoon, can you just tell me, please?"
The more he remembered her smile, her voice, the more irritable he became.
