Ryan Gregory fixed his gaze on the woman before him. She had given another man a tie, but what did that imply?
Even though that man was just her brother.
Still, his heart felt uncomfortable.
Sofia Hamilton noticed his displeasure, "What's wrong with you?"
No sooner had she spoken than he set his face in a grim expression, pulled her hand away forcefully, and tossed it aside with a burst of anger.
"I guess you'd rather Aaron Brown take you out to eat, wouldn't you?"
His voice was cold, laden with mockery.
As soon as he finished speaking, he turned and walked away.
Sofia was baffled. What was his problem?
Why the sudden temper?
What did it mean that she'd rather have Aaron Brown take her out?
Confused and unconvinced by his anger, she followed after him, "Ryan Gregory, how can you go back on your word!"
"Hey, what did I do to upset you?"
"Stop following me."
