Mrs. Brown set down her coffee cup and said coldly, "Since it's a transaction, there's no such thing as helping out, and please, Miss Hamilton, treat this matter with serious responsibility. Don't make it difficult for my daughter in the future. When you're at the Gregory family, I hope you don't just do as you please. Understand?"
"I understand."
Sofia Hamilton forced a smile, little did she know how strained it looked.
Mrs. Brown spoke at length before leaving.
Sofia sat alone in the cafe, inevitably feeling downhearted.
The reminder from Mrs. Brown once again made her alert to the fact that one day she would leave the Gregory family.
Since she had accepted benefits from the Brown Family, she ought to do her job well.
