Chapter Five
The Office.
Sofia Hamilton carefully placed the coffee in front of him, only to find that there was already a cup on the desk.
"This is..."
"I made it for you."
"For me?"
She was surprised. Why was he being so nice today, even making her coffee?
Ryan Gregory's lips curled into a smirk as he pulled her wrist. "Come here, sit down, keep me company for a while."
He pulled her down to sit, and while she was off guard, he switched the two identical cups and handed her the coffee mug himself. "Try the taste."
His eyes were warm and gentle, and his smile was soft.
A bit startled, Sofia Hamilton took the cup, and then he opened the box in front of him, extracting some pastries that looked extremely tempting. "Have something to eat."
Delicacies!!
Sofia Hamilton's eyes nearly brimmed with hearts.
With no resistance to food, she was instantly in a great mood, picking up a piece of cake with excited delight and eagerly popping it into her mouth.
"So delicious!"
