Sofia Hamilton rubbed her temple with one hand, pretending to have a headache, "Doctor, you must have checked wrong just now, my head is killing me."
"Huh?" The doctor looked bewildered, glancing at Ryan Gregory and feeling torn between two sides.
What on earth was today? He couldn't afford to offend either party.
The doctor wiped his sweat, "Mrs. Gregory, all your check-ups are fine."
"Then why does my head hurt so much?"
"Well, then... should I arrange for you to have a few additional tests?"
Sofia Hamilton nodded vigorously, "Yes, please."
As long as she could avoid the misfortune of going back to clean, she didn't care about undergoing even more checks. After all, it wasn't her money being spent.
The doctor felt awkward, but sat down to prepare to write out the orders.
"That's enough! Stop pretending," Ryan Gregory interrupted her...
He looked at her, a glint of amusement flickering through his dark eyes.
Did she really think he couldn't see through her?
