Chapter Two
Was she really so dependent on her brother?
Why not just spend her whole life with her brother!!
Ryan Gregory's brows furrowed deeply, his dark eyes so gloomy they seemed like they could drip water.
In the car, Sofia Hamilton's heart beat faster and faster.
Because Aaron Brown was slowly leaning in...
She was nervous, her mind went blank, forgetting how to react.
Just when she thought he was about to kiss her,
his hand reached over to the side of her body, helping her to release her seat belt.
"Your seat belt wasn't undone," he said, a corner of his lips rising slightly, his voice rich and magnetic with a hint of laughter in it.
It seemed as if he was laughing at her nervousness...
Sofia Hamilton's cheeks flushed instantly.
With an awkward, forced smile, she said goodbye and hurried out of the car.
She left with quick steps, as if she wished she could sprout wings and disappear from his sight immediately.
