Sofia Hamilton had no choice but to follow Aurelia Wood's lead and continued with a guilty smile, "I'm not that hungry, you all go ahead."
Arthur Baker frowned, "Are you sick?"
"Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"
"No need!" Sofia hastily refused, "I... just... don't feel like eating, that's all, it's nothing serious."
Lying to Arthur made her feel guilty.
She hadn't done anything, yet she felt as if she had wronged him...
Aurelia hurried to Arthur's side, "Come on, let's go, I'm starving."
With that, she began to pull Arthur away.
Arthur had no choice but to say, "I'll call you later."
Sofia nodded, smiling as she watched them leave until their figures receded into the distance and her smile began to falter.
She felt a pang of guilt, as if she had done something wrong to Arthur.
What Sofia hadn't expected was an even more awkward and coincidental event waiting for her.
