Such a situation had never occurred before…
Mr. Baker was known for his swift and decisive actions, cautious and strict conduct.
He would not allow anyone to be distracted during meetings, demanding everyone's full attention to face every day's work because working in the entertainment circle meant facing numerous issues daily. A slight negligence could give others an opportunity, leading to a plummet from grace.
Yet today, Mr. Baker himself was the one lost in thought.
Arthur Baker snapped back to reality, looking apologetic as he turned to several shareholders and said in standard English, "I apologize, this is not something you need to worry about. We have the best public relations team. Give me one day, and I will surely turn the situation around."
With his promise, everyone finally felt at ease.
After the meeting concluded, the shareholders left one after another, leaving Arthur Baker alone. He pinched the bridge of his nose, unable to calm his mind.
