He walked towards the Wardrobe Room and, upon opening the door, Sofia Hamilton, who was hiding in the corner, was nearly scared out of her wits.
She was squatting next to the cabinet where the watches were kept, her mouth tightly covered with her hands.
Ryan Gregory frowned slightly and tilted his head just a little; her skirt had already given her away.
The hem of her dress lay on the carpet, having long betrayed her hiding spot.
Ryan's eyes darkened and his lips curved into a slight smile as he walked directly inside, took off his suit jacket, and carelessly tossed it aside—it landed right next to Sofia, forcing her to quickly scoot to the other side to hide.
What a miscalculation!
Thinking of him entering the bedroom, she should have known this was the most likely place he would come, yet she didn't think twice before hiding here.
