Chapter Nine
Sofia Hamilton had a sleepless night, tossing and turning as she kept thinking about Ryan Gregory's expression.
It was as if she had hurt him...
Wasn't it he who had hurt her?
With dark circles under her eyes, she spent several hours in the car to Bear Mountain for a location shoot, only to be thwarted by bad weather. Unable to capture the shots they wanted, they had to postpone till tomorrow.
She hadn't planned on spending the night here, but it seemed unavoidable now.
Upon arriving at the hotel and just after checking in, Sofia quickly turned around, nearly bumping into the person behind her.
The man reached out to steady her, preventing her from bumping into someone else as she stepped back.
Sofia was about to say thanks.
But the words stuck in her throat as soon as they reached her lips.
She looked incredulously at Ryan Gregory standing before her...
How had he come here again?
