Chapter One
The next day.
Bright and early, Lena was running around the room until, with nowhere else to run, she huddled in the corner with her big innocent eyes staring at Sofia Hamilton, "I don't want to wear pants."
"Hurry up, we're going to be late!"
Sofia urged her, glancing at the time—it was indeed almost late!
But the little girl was not cooperating.
Her small body crouched there, looking pitiful but also a bit exasperating.
Sofia couldn't help but smile, patiently coaxing, "Lena, you're the big sister, aren't you? Big sisters should listen to Mommy and set a good example for their little brother. Look, Wilson is over there laughing at you."
"But I don't want to wear pants. Why does Mommy always make me wear the same clothes as Wilson? Look how ugly he looks in them. I want to wear the princess dress my godmother bought for me."
"But there's an event at school today, and if you wear a dress, you might ruin it, right?"
