Chapter One
Following Arthur Baker to the old Baker Family home, Grandfather seemed to know she was coming and had been waiting at the door early.
Sofia Hamilton got out of the car and walked forward with a smile, "Grandfather."
Old Master Baker's face couldn't hide his joy, "You finally remembered to come see me? Aren't you going to stay this time around?"
The old man then looked at Arthur Baker beside him and praised him, "You finally did the right thing."
Arthur Baker curled his lips into a smile, "It's rare for you to compliment me like that."
It was well known that Grandfather was often discontent with him at home, and getting a single compliment or approval was harder than reaching the heavens!
But today, the old man was beaming with praise.
It showed just how happy Grandfather was.
