Chapter Eight
Ryan Gregory's brow furrowed, and he said in a deep voice, "Think about where the problem lies."
Nathan Morgan couldn't suppress the excitement in his heart and said angrily, "If I catch the traitor, I'll make sure he pays! We only missed it by ten thousand this time; there must have been someone tipping off Aaron Brown. How else could he have been so exact? Even a 'Fairy' couldn't be that accurate. It's obvious he knew our price! What a villain!"
How could Ryan not know that there was a mole?
However, the people who followed him were unlikely to betray him.
As the saying goes, "Trust those you employ, and employ those you trust."
"Did you tell anyone else about this?"
"No, just us few..."
As Nathan spoke, he suddenly remembered something.
"That's right!"
"I think I told your sister-in-law about this. I was in Los Angeles at the time, desperate to find you, and she was the one who answered the phone!"
