"Who's jealous?!"
She stubbornly argued, a face full of denial, yet the blush on her face betrayed her.
Ryan Gregory's good mood lifted the corners of his mouth, his eyebrows tinged with smiles, as if there was something particularly delightful.
The more he laughed, the more puzzled Sofia Hamilton became.
"What are you laughing at!"
Did her jealous look really seem that funny to him?
Ryan's lips stretched into a wide grin as he pulled her into his embrace and said contentedly, "I'm happy."
"Happy about what?"
"Nothing."
He smiled without a word, his joy not something that could be easily explained in a few sentences.
Seeing her jealous made him feel an unprecedented satisfaction.
Perhaps infected by his cheerfulness, Sofia couldn't help but smile, her earlier sense of loss vanishing in an instant as she complained, "You didn't come home all night, and you didn't even call me. Do you know I waited for you the whole night? You really are the worst!"
