Sofia Hamilton looked at him. "Do you think I harmed Claura too?"
Ryan Gregory's lips curled into a soft and warm smile. "Fool, how could I ever doubt you?"
He reached out to hold her shoulders, his tone sincere and firm. "I will always stand with you. With me by your side, no one can hurt you."
Though they were just a few simple words, they felt as if they had been etched into her heart.
Her chest swelled with happiness, and, unable to control her emotions, her eyes rimmed red. "Ryan, thank you."
