Sofia Hamilton even suspected that she had heard wrong.
But the facts proved she hadn't misunderstood. Aaron Brown said, "As long as you help me do one thing, I can let you be Regina Brown forever."
Sofia was stunned and found it hard to digest these words for a long time.
"What do you mean?"
How did things develop to this extent?
To be Regina Brown forever?
What about Regina herself?
Did she plan to never come back again?
Aaron Brown forced a bitter smile, "This is the only way for you to stay by Ryan Gregory's side. Only if you're Regina can you stay with him. If you are not, or if your identity is exposed, what do you think Ryan Gregory will do to you? What will he do to your mother?"
His words, like a fuse, ignited the invisible bomb in her heart.
Sofia bit her lip, "Perhaps, I could try to gain his forgiveness?"
She was still holding on to some illusions and expectations.
Perhaps Ryan Gregory would choose to forgive her?
