Chapter Two
After the lawyer left, Sofia Hamilton sat in the café for a very, very long time.
Could this have happened because she had first told Big Brother Aaron?
When Sofia tried to call Aaron Brown's phone, it was perpetually online.
Since she couldn't get through the phone, she had no choice but to go find him in person.
After all, the matter concerned the Brown Family.
Actually, it had nothing to do with her whatsoever.
Sofia Hamilton hurried out to catch a ride, and a taxi stopped in front of her; without a second thought, she got in.
"Driver, to Huansi Road."
The driver was a young man wearing a duckbill cap with the brim pulled down low, dressed in all black.
The car drove forward, but it was going in the opposite direction of Huansi Road.
She wondered, "Driver, are you going the wrong way?"
How could she remember it not being this road?
"They're fixing the road over there; taking this side road is a shortcut."
A shortcut?
