Chapter Two
She sat quietly on one side, drying her hair.
He sat silently beside her, his face full of thoughts.
They were quiet, not disturbing each other, the room so silent that you could hear breathing.
Eventually, she couldn't suppress her curiosity and asked softly, "What's wrong with you?"
She asked cautiously, her clear eyes brimming with concern.
Her rosy cheeks resembled perfectly ripe apples.
But her hair was still dripping wet, the droplets soaking her clothes.
Such a worrysome girl.
If the woman in front of him had been as assertive, shrewd, calculating, and greedy as other women...
He might, truly, not have noticed her.
Even he was surprised at himself.
The woman he was looking for should be excellent and intelligent, right?
Someone who could help him in his career...
Or perhaps, someone who wouldn't require him to worry about her.
