Chapter Three
"Hurry up."
She urged him, and to her surprise, he obediently closed his eyes.
Watching him with his eyes closed, Sofia Hamilton couldn't help but snicker. She mischievously touched the dog's head, bringing the dog close to his face.
She thought she had successfully played a trick.
But unexpectedly, just as she drew close to him, he suddenly reached out, grabbed the back of her head, and pulled her in forcefully.
Sofia was taken aback, helplessly tumbling toward him, her lips landing on his cheek.
The dog, startled, jumped to one side, and she quickly pushed him away, her face flushing, "Ryan Gregory!!"
Ryan Gregory raised an eyebrow, his smile brimming with provocation, "You're still too green to compete with me."
"You..."
She was angry at this man, sly as a fox.
She had wondered why he suddenly became so compliant.
Turns out, he had seen right through her little scheme, her little trick...
