Seeing Ethan Jenkins not climbing into bed and just sitting at the bedside, Jesslyn Derei crawled over and hugged him from behind.
Ethan felt the softness pressing against his back and instinctively tensed up.
His voice raspy, he said, "Stay away from me. Don't cling to me, it's very hot."
He felt his whole body burning with heat!
"Hot?" Jesslyn Derei asked in confusion, "It's only April, how can it be hot."
"Just don't stick to me," Ethan's tone deepened, "I'm not used to sharing a bed with others, and I especially dislike it when someone sleeps too close to me. I won't be able to sleep well."
"Oh..." Jesslyn Derei responded but continued to hold Ethan without letting go.
Ethan's brows furrowed, "Aren't you going to lie down over there!"
Only then did Jesslyn Derei realize, and she quickly moved back, making space for Ethan on the bed.
Now Ethan finally lay down on the bed.
