Amanda Jenkins didn't understand guns, but even she could tell there was something unusual about this one.
The pistol was entirely silver, particularly attractive.
However, she wasn't in the mood to appreciate it now.
She hurriedly closed the box, as private possession of firearms was strictly forbidden in the country!!
With one hand firmly pressed on the wooden box, Amanda took a deep breath and let out a wry smile, "Quite a special gift indeed."
She looked up, her gaze cold and guarded as she faced Bruce Van, "What do you do for a living?"
An ordinary person wouldn't be able to own a real gun.
Bruce Van didn't answer Amanda's question but simply shrugged, "You don't seem to like this gift very much."
His lips curled up slightly, "But no matter, I have three gifts for you in total, and there are still two to come …"
Amanda frowned; the first time she saw Bruce Van at the sanatorium, she didn't take much of a liking to this man who radiated an aura of hostility.
