"Alright!" Derek Jill stood up, "What are we betting?"
Someone immediately started advising, "Don't be like this, we're all here for the good of the company."
"Vice President Jill," Kenneth Bruijn spoke gently, "you said it yourself, Amanda is still young, we should be working together to support her. Young people are more impetuous, don't take it to heart."
"Yes," another person chimed in from beside them, "now that CEO Jenkins is sick at home, we can't afford to fight amongst ourselves."
But Derek Jill was not to be dissuaded and, pointing at Amanda Jenkins with a fiery temper, exclaimed, "I've been with Claire Jenkins for over a decade, I'm not afraid of a little girl like you!"
Amanda Jenkins sneered coldly, rose to her feet, and walked towards Derek Jill.
By the side, Shelly Berg shook her head helplessly.
Amanda was in a bad mood because of Lucas Griffin, and this old fool was really just asking for trouble.
