Amanda Jenkins couldn't be at ease, she turned and looked at Manager Kirk, only then did she notice some wet footprints on the ground.
She furrowed her brows, "Has Lucas been caught in the rain?"
"Yes," Manager Kirk nodded.
"How can we let him be alone in the study!" Amanda's heart grew more anxious, "Aunt Morgan, go and get the spare key for the study."
Aunt Morgan glanced at Manager Kirk and advised softly, "Young Mistress, just let the Young Master be. Manager Kirk is right, whenever he faced any setbacks as a child he preferred it this way, it makes him feel better. Let him adjust on his own. If we forcibly barge in, it will only upset him more."
Amanda's brow deepened, but she still couldn't let go of her worries.
Manager Kirk added, "The Young Master and Elder Griffin are alike, they don't like others to see them when they're vulnerable. And..."
"What?" Amanda asked.
"The Young Master probably least wants you to see him looking like this right now."
