Amanda Jenkins picked six stems of lilies and then went to pick carnations.
A few minutes later, Jesslyn Derei came panting, "Amanda, I must say your place is just too big!"
Amanda Jenkins couldn't help but giggle, "Didn't they offer to drive you in?"
"They did drive me in," Jesslyn Derei caught her breath, "But even driving from the gate took several minutes, and the car couldn't enter the garden. I ran over here after getting out of the car, and I'm exhausted."
"What's so urgent?"
"Nothing..." Jesslyn Derei's expression flickered, "It's nothing important, really."
"Then take a rest and take your time," Amanda Jenkins led Jesslyn Derei by the hand to a pavilion.
In the middle of the pavilion was a round stone table laid with brewed tea.
Amanda Jenkins placed the flowers on the stone table, poured a cup of tea for Jesslyn Derei, and handed it to her, "Have some water and take it slow."
