Lucas Griffin stepped over the "Fire Gate," frantically searching within the burning factory.
"Amanda! Kent!"
Burning beams fell from the roof from time to time.
He agilely dodged them.
Soon, the scorching air currents dried his drenched clothes.
Whether due to worry and fear, or because the smoke in the room was too thick, his eyes turned bloodshot, and tears continuously welled up.
He clenched his teeth forcefully, running through the blaze while shouting loudly, "Amanda! Are you there, Amanda?"
Although the Firefighters had told him they were not sure if anyone was inside the factory.
But even if there was only a one percent chance, he had to go in!
Whether it was life or death, he had to be by their side, protecting mother and son!
Inside a water tank, Amanda Jenkins seemed to hear Lucas Griffin's voice.
But she thought it was just her missing him too much, assuming it was a hallucination before death.
She hugged her son Kent tightly, tears silently falling.
