Amanda Jenkins walked to the table with heavy steps, intending to take the pot of bullwhip soup to the kitchen and pour it out.
She had just picked up the porcelain pot when the door of the bedroom opened.
"Lucas?" Amanda Jenkins looked at Lucas Griffin, who appeared at the door, in surprise, "Didn't you go to the study?"
Lucas Griffin curved his lips into a gentle smile and glanced at the porcelain pot Amanda was holding. "Suddenly remembered, that I forgot to eat something."
Amanda's eyes lit up, and a sweet smile spread across her lips, "You're willing to eat it?"
"Can I eat it?"
"Of course!" Amanda quickly invited him, "Come sit down, I'll serve you a bowl."
Great!
Amanda happily picked up a bowl and ladled a slow bowlful of bullwhip for Lucas, extending it to him with both hands, "Try it and see. It's my first time making it, so I'm not sure about the taste."
She looked at him with great anticipation, her dense lashes fluttering.
