Watching the eyes cast her way, Amanda Jenkins forced a small smile and steeled herself to walk downstairs.
"Grandpa, Mom," she greeted Elder Griffin and Sienna Bieber respectfully before trying to slip away.
She had no interest in the commotion.
However, Sienna Bieber called out to her, "Amanda, call your father and have him take your sister back home."
Amanda's spine stiffened; it seemed she wouldn't be able to leave without incident today.
She turned around, smiling slightly, "Mom, I'm now part of the Griffin family; the affairs of the Jenkins Family are not my concern."
Sienna's expression darkened, "What a thing to say! You and your sister are indeed capable, is that what your parents taught you? To enter a wealthy family by such means?"
The smile on Amanda's face couldn't hold.
She disliked being lumped together with Anastasia Jenkins.
She disliked even more when others spoke disrespectfully of her parents.
They could scold her, but not her parents!
