William was a young and talented designer who, despite his young age, had already surpassed many well-established and famous senior designers.
He was also her favorite designer.
She particularly admired some of William's design concepts and regarded him as her idol.
So from another perspective, being able to compete with William in design was also an honor for her, Amanda Jenkins.
Even though the final result was bound to be a loss, it would be a loss that she could accept wholeheartedly and meaningfully.
