No matter what, Jonas always considered things from Lucas Griffin's perspective, believing that Jesslyn Derei and Amanda Jenkins were best friends, so he couldn't ignore Jesslyn's safety.
However, Lucas was indifferent and never meddled in other people's affairs.
He worried, what if something happened to Jesslyn, how would Brother Kirin explain it to Amanda?
Now, at least, he was relieved.
Jonas hurried to keep up with Lucas's pace, "Should we take some people with us?"
"No need, just the two of us are enough to protect Jesslyn Derei," Lucas said nonchalantly.
Though neither he nor Jonas were police or soldiers, nor were they killers.
