This was the first contact between the two former friends after Emma Bollock and Samuel Griffin were married.
As soon as the call connected, Emma asked directly, "Anastasia, today is Claire Jenkins' new product launch. Are you really going to watch Amanda Jenkins steal all the limelight?"
"Of course not." Anastasia had arrived at the office early. As she stepped out of the elevator, she lowered her voice and said, "Just as you said, the person I should hate even more is Amanda Jenkins. How could I let her off easily?"
"So what are your plans for today?"
"Everything is ready. Today Amanda Jenkins will definitely make a fool of herself. Let's see if she still has the good fortune to clean up this mess."
Out of curiosity, Emma asked, "What did you do?"
"Just wait and watch the news."
During the conversation, Anastasia reached the door of Samuel Griffin's office.
