But the panicked Emma Bollock thrashed violently; her arms and legs flailing, she pushed down on Amanda Jenkins's shoulders, desperately trying to get above water to breathe.
Amanda Jenkins could swim, but she wasn't adept at handling such situations; she simply didn't have the strength to control Emma Bollock, who instead dragged her under the water.
A few gulps of water made her panic, and her strength quickly depleted.
Fortunately, Lucas Griffin swam over in time and grabbed both women, bringing them to shore.
After throwing Emma Bollock onto the shore, Lucas Griffin no longer paid her any mind and instead picked up the exhausted Amanda Jenkins and walked away.
